How about public trasportation? Which app should I use?

Don't waste your memory space! Googlemap is the most effective app we use.

If you wanna book the train or HSR tickets in advance. You can easily go to any convenience stores, there's a machine can help you book and print out the tickets. Ask the staffs if you don't know how to manipulate, they're willing to help.

Here're some tips for you while you wanna hop on the taxi or bus on the road.

• Taxi: the red light on means available. Take a deep breath and put you seat belt on because our taxi are normally crazy drivers.

• Bus: don't forget to wave your hand while the bus is approaching. Tapping your easy card twice get-on and get-off.

There're some other local apps we use for taxi except uber: LineTaxi, yoxi, 55688(Taiwantaxi). Sadly I only see 55688 have the English version so far.
