East coast：gorgeous geographic

Now we're going to focus on the most beautiful part of Taiwan.

There are some express trains you can take from Taipei, Puyuma & Taroko. "Watch out!" Please book the ticket in advance or it'll be sold out soon especially during the weekend. You can book online or go to 7-11 use iBon to guy it once you arrived. If you go from the south there's only normal train you can take from Pingtung.

That will be awesome if you can rent a car or scooter to travel along the east coast. If you're good at cycling do the cycling trip around the whole island. You'll fall in love with this undiscovered treasure.

Ilan：Let's go surfing&paragliding

Ilan is like my 2nd home because I always camping on the beach at night then surfing the next day morning. Wushi port or Waiao beach are very famous for surfing. You can find lots of surfing shops around there, renting a surfing board then go. You'll love it.

There's a beautiful Mr. Brown coffee castle on the mountain you can go there grab a coffee and enjoy the view. Also, you see lots of poeple doing the paragliding around there.

Jiaoxi hot spring, Su-ao cold spring, Luo Dong Night Market ... You have lots of things to do in Ilan. During summer time there's a special event, International Children's Folklore & Folkgame Festival, don't miss it.

Hualien：Taroko Gorge

The top one you have to see in Taiwan from Lonely Planet. If you love hiking or climbing you won't miss Taroko National Park.

Book a kayaking tour to see Cingshuei cliff from the ocean. That's the totally different view from looking down. You'll be enchanted by the outstanding landscape and sunset. Just jump into the water if you feel hot, the water is clean and without pollution.

Besides, you can book a tour to see whales and dolphins. The best season is from April to October.

Taitung：natural treasure

Taitung reserve the most natural resources of Taiwan. There are lots preserve area in Taitung. If you have the chance to visit the aboriginal village in the mountain you'll see how beautiful and meaningful it is. Also, you can take boats to Green Island and Orchid Island. You won't see lots of tourist there only locals. Don't miss diving here, it's amazing because lots of sea creatures here.

Join the balloon festival during the summer time. To see the landscape from the sky, the best thing to do in Taitung. There are still a lot undiscovered spots in the valley and mountain. If you come to Taitung just be lost. There are always surprises waiting for you.
