West coast：Discover the land

Travelling from Taipei to Kenting along the west coast you can use HSR, TRA or buses. I won't introduce you all the tourist spots in each counties. What I'm going to show you is the ranking of my favorite counties and how many days at least you have to spend to discover there.

1st: Tainan 2 days

The most cultural and historical county in Taiwan. Also, famous for delicious food. The people here are super friendly even they seldom speak English.

2nd: Pingtung 3 days

Kenting has wonderful beach and lots of water activities. Lots of scenes of "The life of Pi" is taken from here. You can rent a scooter here to explore the natural beauties.

3rd: Chiayi 1 days

Take the Alishan train to enjoy the journey, the forest train route. Wake up the next day to see the sunrise in Alishan. It's an awesome view.

4th: Nantou 2 days

Cingjing farm & Sun moon lake, if you have time you can visit Aboriginal Culture Village or Xitou Monster Village as well.

5th: Taichung 2 days

Gaomei wetland & Xinshe care very beautiful place to see the sunset and flowers. Compare to Taipei city, the pace of Taichung is really slow and chill out. You can feel the difference between the North lifestyle and the middle one.

6th: Kaohsiung 2 days

Kaohsiung is a harbor city. The famous sightseeing spots include Love River, Si Zih Wan, Cijin Island, and urban spotlight. You can enjoy fresh seafood in Cijin island.
