Here I'm going to show you some Taiwanese cuisine and good restaurants. Because I live in Taipei so all the restaurant I mentioned is in Taipei and it's all about the personal tastes.

．Braised Pork rice

Braised Pork rice is the most representative Taiwanese cuisine in the world. You can easily get one in the restaurant on the street. Don't forget to order the tofu or veges. Otherwise you can try some soup such as radish meat ball soup.

"Jing Fong" is my favorite braised pork rice restaurant. It's very close to CKS memorial hall MRT station. Click the photo to see the location.

．Beef noodle

There are still some flavors in beef noodle. Clear stewed beef noodle, tomato beef noodle, braised beef noodle or original-flavored beef noodle. So make sure which one you want to try before you take an order.

．Stir-fried restaurant

We enjoy have dinner in Stir-fried restaurant with friends. You can talk loudly and drink Taiwanese beer here. Also, having some delicious Taiwanese cuisines. If you see the sign board "xxxx100" it means almost each dish for twd100.

"Ping Xing" stir-fried restaurant is very close to Liuzhangli station. It always very busy at night. Click the photo to see the location.

．Dumpling

Soup dumpling, fried dumpling, boiled dumpling, steamed dumpling, lots of different cooking way. No matter how it cooked, it is tasty with soybean sauce and ginger.

"Ming Yue" soup dumpling is close to Liuzhangli station, I think it's even better than "Din Tai Fon". Click photo to see the location.

．Chinese medicine soup

It's a very healthy meal you can choose with pork rib, lamb or catfish.

．Ginger Duck soup

We love to have it during the winter time. It'll help you get warm and get rid of cold.

．Spicy hot pot

If you are a foodie as well you won't miss spicy hot pot. One thing special in Taiwan is that we have twin-side pot. It means you can choose two flavor, one spicy and another one not spicy.
